Algebra II Exams

The Algebra I Regents Exam assesses student understanding of fundamental algebraic concepts.


It consists of 37 questions (86 total credits) and is divided into four parts:​

  • Part I: 24 multiple choice questions (2 credits each)

  • Part II: 8 short response questions (2 credits each)

  • Part III: 4 extended response questions (4 credits each)

  • Part IV: 1 extended response question (6 credits)

The Geometry Regents Exam measures student understanding of geometric relationships, proofs, and applications.


It consists of 35 questions (80 total credits) and is divided into four parts:

  • Part I: 24 multiple choice questions (2 credits each)

  • Part II: 7 short response questions (2 credits each)

  • Part III: 3 extended response questions (4 credits each)

  • Part IV: 1 extended response question (6 credits)

The Algebra II Regents Exam assesses advanced algebraic skills, functions, probability, and statistics.


It consists of 37 questions (88 total credits) and is divided into four parts:

  • Part I: 24 multiple choice questions (2 credits each)

  • Part II: 8 short response questions (2 credits each)

  • Part III: 4 extended response questions (4 credits each)

  • Part IV: 1 extended response question (6 credits)
